  • Play a game of Pooh sticks across the bridges.
  • Fancy a treat? Food and ice cream will be available for purchase.

Come along, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time together in the great outdoors! We can’t wait to see you there!

Please note:

  • Parental supervision is required at all times for children aged 12yrs and below.
  • As this is a free event for families living in Purbeck, you will be asked for your full address when booking places.
  • All places must be booked in advance.
  • The meet location is at Dorset Adventure Park and not Cumulus Outdoors

Come and explore the Dorset Adventure Park out of season when it’s quiet. A perfect time to watch and listen to the nature all around you.

Which birds can you spot in the trees? What wild flowers are beginning to open their faces to the sunshine?

Play Pooh sticks from the new bridge and see whose stick appears first! It’s such fun!

Then enjoy a little treat from the Watering Hole to round off your visit.

About Purbeck Goes Wild

The Purbeck Nature Network of 30+ different organisations – landowners, activity providers, community groups and charities – have come together to make sure every Purbeck child and young person is offered opportunities to get out and about in nature and the outdoors across Purbeck’s diverse landscape, whether that’s through your school & for you as a family.

This is a dedicated programme for Purbeck kids, living in the most biodiverse area of the UK!

This will mean:

  • Free & heavily discounted family events across Purbeck
  • Free activities via the Wylder App
  • More school trips out & about (free in most cases inc. free transport)
  • Better work experience & job opportunities in nature & outdoor sectors
