Very Worthwhile

Thank you so much for the DofE residential week. Tom seems to have got an enormous amount out of it both in terms of the physical activities and the working together as a team with a group of people he'd never met. It was all very worthwhile.
A big thankyou to all your team

Amazing experience.

Our son had an amazing time on his gold D of E residential at the end of July. He enjoyed all the activities especially the day Kayaking. Being responsible for budgeting and cooking their meals has made him more independent and responsible. Thank you

DofE Residential

In order for me to complete my Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award, I had to undertake a week away from home meeting new people and working as part of a team in order to complete tasks set. One day we went climbing, it was great fun, Mark told us how to climb and in what position to do so safely and securely. We started doing small wall climbs outside first on the coast and then progressed on to more challenging climbs. Another day, we went Kayaking with Russell and Gary, it was great fun and we paddled 15km across Poole Harbor stopping for regular breaks and views across the blue water, another amazing day out! I made some great friends during my stay and would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a residential week on their Duke of Edinburgh's Award or just to get to do some of the activities offered at Cumulus. Thanks a lot to Russell, Mark and the team for this incredible opportunity, hopefully in the near future I will come again!

Really Valuable Lessons and a Memorable Time!

Thank you so much for orchestrating such a fun and memorable time last week on the DofE Gold Residential course. I met some great friends, whom I will stay in contact with, and learnt some really valuable lessons about the activities, managing our time (and money!) and how far I can push my own limits. I particularly enjoyed coasteering on Tuesday, and loved the combination with sailing too. I never thought I would do something so adventurous and begin to feel comfortable, as I previously would've been way more nervous. I also really enjoyed the other activities, and the bushcraft night was certainly memorable! Being able to push my limits, but not feel pressured to, created a great atmosphere within the group .. I have already recommended this week to my DofE Leader, and will continue to do so to others at school.
Thank you.

D of E Gold Bungalow/Camping Residential with Cumulus!

I underwent my Gold DofE Residential at Cumulus this summer and what a fantastic experience! From coasteering and kayaking to sleeping overnight in hammocks and climbing the cliffs at Durlston in Swanage, it was an unforgettable week. Making some great new friends and the instructors were, not only very professional, but great fun to spend time with.
Overall highly recommended and if I had the chance I would do it all over again!

Revision Residential

I spent my May half term doing my DofE residential, Cumulus are an amazing company, with great staff, who are fun, polite and always there to help, the independence that we are given is great and the accommodation is good. I met a group of great friends, and I can’t really pick a bad part of the week other than it was over to quick. All the actives where really well thought out and fun. I 100% recommend this residential to any one looking into it.

Fantastic week!

I did my residential 23-27 July 2018. Had an excellent time meeting new people, and doing exciting and interesting activities. Range of ages and types of individuals doing the residential, all of which are fun and nice to be around for a week. Really close to everyone in my group by the end of the week.

Pushing Boundaries

Really great week, every activity was well organised and a combination of encouragement and proper instruction gives you the confidence to really push your own boundaries. The wide range of activities were all very well equipped and were run by professional instructors. The enthusiasm and commitment from the instructors also makes the trip much more enjoyable and fulfilling.
