Outdoor adventure activities in Dorset
We offer a wide selection of land and water-based outdoor adventure activities, including coasteering, climbing, bushcraft and stand up paddleboarding. Activities take place at our Residential Centre in Swanage and off-site locations along the spectacular Jurassic Coast.
Many of our sessions offer beautiful sea views and provide a unique way to explore the world-famous coastline. Our outdoor adventure activities can be enjoyed by children and adults and are a great option for stag do’s, hen do’s and business away days.
All of our sessions are hosted by our experienced team of instructors. They will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day, while learning new skills. The Cumulus Team will adapt the session to the needs and abilities of the group. Our activities are well suited to people looking or family friendly things to do in Swanage.
Courses & clubs
Cumulus Outdoors run a range of courses throughout the year at our Residential Centre in Swanage. We’re proud to offer a selection of accredited first aid courses alongside the RLSS Beach Lifeguard course, which is geared towards individuals working in the outdoor education sector.
During the school holidays we run the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme in association with Dorset Council. This has been designed to encourage children to get outside to participate in the adventurous activities available on their doorstep. It also promotes the benefits of healthy eating, with all children receiving a balanced home cooked meal during the session.
