Acquisition of Dorset Adventure Park
October 29th, 2024
We are proud to share that our directors have successfully acquired Dorset Adventure Park, located near Corfe Castle!

Our Directors Tom Campbell-Hill and Sam Thompson are proud to announce the successful acquisition of Dorset Adventure Park, a renowned local leisure destination featuring a Waterpark and Mud Trail set within 18 acres of woodland and lakes overlooking Corfe Castle.
This strategic move, effective as of November 2024, secures the facility for our residential programmes and represents a significant milestone in our mission to inspire optimism and happiness in young people through outdoor learning and experiences. It also reinforces Cumulus’ commitment to promoting physical and mental health and wellbeing across all age groups.
Many of our bespoke school and youth group residential programmes currently include the popular activities at the Dorset Adventure Park. The collaboration between Cumulus and our sister company will enable further development of the range of exciting activities available to young people, their families and other groups. This partnership solidifies our position as the residential and activity specialists in the region while offering significant opportunities to expand the range of exciting outdoor opportunities.
“We are delighted to have had the opportunity to acquire the Dorset Adventure Park. We are excited by the range of opportunities this acquisition will provide to our school and youth groups as well as families and other groups, both visitors to our wonderful region and the local community”
Tom Campbell-Hill, Director at Cumulus Outdoors
Sam and Tom are dedicated to a smooth integration process for Dorset Adventure Park and its workforce. Customers of Dorset Adventure Park will continue to enjoy the same exceptional service and experiences, now supported by Cumulus Outdoors.
About Dorset Adventure Park
Dorset Adventure Park spans 18 acres and features two spacious lakes, which originally served as fishing lakes. Over the years, investment transformed these lakes into a vibrant outdoor attraction, now home to two large inflatable obstacle courses, a mud run, changing rooms, showers, and a café.
The wet and wild woodland adventure park enjoys an enviable position beneath the shadow of Corfe Castle, just a stone’s throw from the vibrant seaside town of Swanage and endless white sand of Studland Beach – making it a must-visit on any coastal holiday itinerary.
