Covid Secure Coasteering in Dorset: Customer Reviews

Since reopening in early July, we’ve been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we’ve received from customers who have participated in one of our activity sessions on the Jurassic Coast. We’re immensely proud of the way our team have adapted to the new way of working, and the wonderful reviews are testament to the hard work everyone has put in.

Following careful planning and rigorous health and safety assessments in the lead up to reopening, the team were confident that we were able to accommodate social distancing guidelines and make our premises and sessions Covid secure. It’s clear to see from the reviews that the level of service we offer has not been compromised by the new measures and that we continue to offer award-winning outdoor adventure activities in Dorset.

Take a look at two of our most recent TripAdvisor reviews:

“We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon coasteering on Wednesday with Jess & Georgie. The correspondence from the company was prompt & professional. The welcome on site was warm & reassuring & equipment issued was good. We took a lovely walk down to Dancing Ledge for a fun filled afternoon of jumping and climbing. I was worried I’d be too cold in the sea (I’m a wuss!) but didn’t feel cold at all in the thick wetsuit. Jess & Georgie made sure we were safe & comfortable whilst challenging & encouraging us. The scenery was beautiful & a view of the coast you couldn’t get from dry land. They had adapted well to offer a Covid secure & reassuring experience. Highlight of the holiday & I would highly recommend it!”

“I went with two others to do Coasteering at Dancing Ledge, and we had a great time. Starting off with a very small jump into the water, we progressed to bigger jumps, and along the way experienced swimming through caves, clambering onto rocks, and finally a really big jump. There’s no compulsion to jump from heights, though, and there are always a range of options on offer. It was well organised and run by experts who take care of the group at all times. Cumulus provide warm wetsuits, helmets and flotation jackets, and they have their own private parking area with changing facilities and toilets”

Covid-Secure coasteering in Dorset

Over the summer we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a number of families and small groups on our adventure activity sessions. One group enjoyed their coasteering trip with Cumulus Outdoors so much they decided to write a blog about it, to share their holiday memories with friends. We were delighted to read about their experience, which they described as a ‘magical’! Robert has kindly allowed us to share his story and some photos taken during the session.

As you can see Robert and his 12 year old son, Owen thoroughly enjoyed the adventure which included cliff jumping, traversing over rocky outcrops and exploring sea caves. They enjoyed the scenic views on the walk to the coasteering site, which is located at England’s only natural world heritage site. Robert likened the views to the Mediterranean, which goes to show you don’t have to travel far for a holiday!

Throughout the blog Robert praised our guides, commenting on their patience, ability to reassure the group, and the valuable advice they gave throughout the session.
