New Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential Weeks at Cumulus Outdoors!
Are you working towards your DofE Gold? Or do you have friends or family members who are? Then point them in our direction for an exciting DofE gold residential week in Dorset. Based on the picturesque Jurassic coastline, Cumulus Outdoors offer a range of school and youth group residential programmes, with a plenty of outdoor adventure activities on offer. Kayak down the River Frome to Poole Harbour, climb the heights of the Jurassic Coast Cliffs at Dancing Ledge, coasteer along the fabulous coastline, explore Dorset’s best loved waterpark and sleep under the stars in hammocks!
We have taken on board a range of comments from DofE gold residential participants this year and have adjusted our courses to improve the overall experience. We think we’ve developed a really special programme of activities to be enjoyed from our base in Dorset. We know student’s will enjoy their time at our school and youth group residential facility and the experience of meeting others completing their DofE.
There are 3 DofE gold residential programmes on offer
1. Revision Special DofE gold residential
Ramp up your revision alongside a selection of outdoor adventure activities and watersports on the Dorset coast. This fantastic combo is a great way to enjoy some much needed downtime alongside your studies. You’re guaranteed to maximise your revision whilst completing your DofE gold residential.
2. Glamping Adventure Weeks
Spend a week glamping in Dorset in one of our comfortable tipis. Enjoy the adrenalin rush of the activities and revelling in the natural beauty of the Dorset countryside.
3. Bungalow Adventure Weeks
Based in a comfortable modern bungalow you will complete seven adventure activities during your DofE gold residential. You will also experience an overnight stay at our bushcraft camp, whilst learning a range of survival and foraging techniques. As well as working as part of a team to achieve the challenges set before you.
