School Holiday Clubs

We offer a selection of school holiday clubs from our residential centre in Swanage. These are designed for local children and aim to encourage students to get outdoors and participate in a range of adventure activities.

Cumulus Outdoors run a selection of school holiday clubs in Swanage throughout the year. Our out of school clubs take place at Christmas, Easter and during the six week summer break. The sessions are run by our team of highly qualified and friendly instructors, who are experienced at working with primary and secondary school aged children.

Students will enjoy a range of outdoor adventure activities during our school holiday clubs and will make new friends. Over the course of the sessions they will expand their skill set and try new things.

Holiday Activity & Food programme

We’re also pleased to host the Holiday Activity & Food programme in conjunction with Dorset Council. This local authority project runs throughout the school holidays and has been developed to encourage children to be more active and maintain a healthy diet. Eligible children enjoy a fun-filled activity programme, designed to promote the benefits of spending time in the great outdoors. Activities can include rifle shooting, orienteering, tag archery, coasteering, kayaking and raft building. This programme is open to all children, whether they are allegeable for the HAF funding or just want to pay to come.

Details for both the Summer School Holiday Club and HAF Programme will be available from the end of June 2022.
